​At Baywater Animal Rescue, we want you to always think adoption first when you are considering adding a new family member. Of course, we'd love for you to adopt an animal from us, but ultimately, choosing adoption is one of the most important differences you can make for a homeless pet.

Every time you adopt a pet from Baywater Animal Rescue, you enable us to save the life of another orphaned animal who needs help. Finding a lifelong companion has never been easier! We provide pre-adoption assistance for a good adoption match and we offer post-adoption support for the life of your pet.

1. Complete the online adoption form, which helps us determine which pet might best suit your lifestyle. Click here for the form! We know our pets, we just need to get to know you!
2. Visit the shelter and bring your photo ID.
3. Bring a carrier for your adopted kitty or leash & collar for your adopted dog.

Our standard adoption fees are:
LESS THAN 8 MONTHS

• Puppy ........................................................$400
• Puppy (Purebred) .............................$600
• Kitten .........................................................$100

8 MONTHS TO 6 YEARS

• Dog under 20 pounds...................$350
• Dog over 20 pounds.......................$200
• Cat .................................................................$75

OVER 6 YEARS

• Dog..............................................................$100
• Cat..................................................................$40

OTHER

• Guinea Pig................................................$30
• Rabbit...........................................................$40
• Ferret..........................................................$200

*Funds from adoption fees directly cover the costs of spay/neuter, vaccination, and shelter supplies.
