Sailor Visits the Naval Academy

Picture
Picture
Sailor is my name and smiling on command is my game! I was adopted by a loving Naval Academy family, and I am wagging with joy to tell you about my new home life. On occasion I get to visit the cadets at the academy and give them a much needed moral boost while they give me lots of extra pets and love. When I’m not on the job, I am enjoying the easy life as a giant lap dog. Although I love to snuggle, I have gotten lots of exercise and have lost 10 pounds! When its time to turn in after a long day, I can be found relaxing with the kids and enjoying this new chapter of my life.

Rose… From Abandoned to Bonded

My name is Rose. I was abandoned and searching for a new home all on my own. When I finally found one I liked, I insisted on letting myself in to greet a kind man who was wheelchair bound with limited speaking abilities. We quickly bonded, and he began communicating with me in ways that all thought he had lost. The family surrendered me to Baywater so I could be properly evaluated, but soon after they insisted I become a permanent member of their family. I now live a life full of cat naps and love!

Bo-Gator Makes an Amazing Recovery

Picture
I am Bo-Gator, and I defied the odds thanks to Baywater Animal Rescue and their partners! I was surrendered to their care while infected with canine parvovirus. When untreated, mortality can reach a shocking 91%, and since I am just a pup my risk was even higher. I was losing weight fast and was severely dehydrated. Luckily, I was sent to treatment just in time to make a full recovery! I am now a happy and healthy puppy getting ready for adoption by my new owner.
