A Better Life Campaign 

From design to reality ... the progress has been slow but
​the shelter, playgrounds, & low-cost animal shelter are becoming REAL!!!

The dogs cannot wait to play and run in their new, fenced in yards, with a safe-unleashing section.

Look for our special guest construction workers ... rescues who want to help!  Meet Hope & Jaxon - two amazing rescues want to bring love to you!

Baywater Animal Rescue aspires to change the world for the animals in our community and beyond.  When you join us in this effort, you become a partner in saving lives, reducing suffering and creating a more compassionate world for animals and for the people who love them.

A Better Life Campaign will enable Baywater Animal Rescue to ensure that community pets receive the vital veterinary care they need at an affordable cost. It also ensures that our shelter remains at Zero Euthanasia for healthy/treatable pets.  We will develop innovative solutions to the challenges faced by vulnerable pets and the people who love them by providing comprehensive low cost veterinary services, outreach for the community and shelter life enhancement services for the animals.  

Together with our supporters, A Better Life Campaign will fuel this work by securing $1,3 million by 2025 to fund the following priority areas.  Each offers a unique call to action to help animals today and tomorrow.

During construction, our dogs are loving their updated kennels and sleepovers with foster families. Our staff spends hours providing loving care, training and playing with each dog daily.  

We want you and your prospective pet to have the BEST meet and greet experience.  Please call and make an appointment with us. 
 Walk-in adopters are welcomed too!! 

Our Staff & Dogs go to school!!!

To make our dogs more adaptable and adoptable for families as well as to stimulate their brains, we utilize a Shelter Live Enhancement program that reinforces basic commands in a fun and interactive environment.  Our staff gets so excited when our dogs learn new skills!  Our dogs get so excited by the staff's positive feedback AND their treats when they properly respond to commands.  We are so grateful to K9 Legends for their on-site training.
