Less-adoptable?  Really?

Animals have a way of finding the people who need them ... And filling an emptiness we didn't know we had. (paraphrase APlaceToLoveDogs.com)

Furthermore, those of us who know, love, and rescue animals realize that there is truth in the statement that while you can't buy love, you can adopt it!  Which is why the thought that some animals are "less-adoptable" is inconceivable to us. However the statistics prove that loving, tender, and gentle animals may be "less-adoptable" for a variety of reason.
